Groups are here to help you become a more deeply committed Christian as you participate together in the five essential practices of the Christian life:
Dick and I would love to have you join our new small group! this is a group for couples 50+. We will work together to create a warm and friendly environment for spiritual growth. Our first study will be 'The Walk: Five Essential Practices of the Christian Life'. The group will make plans for regular social and service opportunities. Masks required.
Faith Finders is a wonderful group of women aged 65+ who have been meeting together for many years, but welcome new members all the time. We study both books of the Bible and Christian books, primarily by Pastor Hamilton. We also participate in church-wide studies. This group meets in person and online. Masks required for those in person.
I hope you agree, but getting insight from men and women about faith is beneficial to all. So let’s go co-ed for singles 55+! Let’s have open discussions about our faith where all is accepted. Let’s help open each other’s mind to grow and not become stale in the Word. We can also discuss whether to meet at church or in our homes. If Covid or weather gets too bad we might adjust to Zoom. But while we can, I hope you agree it would be nice to meet in person. Masks recommended but not necessary.
Resurrection's St. Louis Small Group serves St. Louis metropolitan area Resurrection worshippers 40+. We will meet on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. via Zoom. Our group will study Adam Hamilton’s book, “Making Sense of the Bible” beginning Oct. 6. Our group also serves the community. We recently collected baby wipes, diapers and grocery, gas and discount store gift cards for the International Institute of St. Louis to distribute to Afghan families settling here. Please join us whether you are new to Bible study or have been a lifelong student.
This group is open to adult women who are looking for fun, connection, and friendship. We are not afraid to go deep - into scripture and into each other's lives. Join us this fall as we start out by completing the study 'The Belonging Project' by Amberly Neese, a video series that will challenge us to develop real relationships. After we complete that study, the group will decide on the studies we complete afterward throughout the year. With joint leadership hailing from Maine and Kansas City, this group will meet virtually every other week on Wednesday evenings for 90 minutes. We hope to have a diverse mix of ages and backgrounds to allow us to realize the universal power of God's Word through different perspectives.
